Heather is a Nurse Practitioner with the Geriatric Consultation-Liaison team at London Health Sciences Centre, Victoria Hospital . Heather provides consultation services in geriatrics/psychogeriatrics.

Academic Affiliations
Heather has a adjunct appointment as an Assistant Professor in the Arthur Labatt School of Nursing, Faculty of Health Sciences, Werstern University. Her term in this position runs until February 2013. She was also a non-core faculty member in the MCISc - Wound Healing field program in the School Of Physiotherapy, FHS, Western University from 2007 - 2010.
Heather has participated as a mentor for the Registered Nurses Association of Ontario (RNAO) Advanced Clinical Practice Fellowship program on numerous occasions.
In the past, Heather has worked with the Nurse Continence Advisor Education Program as a tutor. In this role Heather supervised clinical experiences and evaluated student assignments and presentations.
Interests/Research Interests
Heather's publications reflect her interest the use of restraints in the elderly, behavioural education training, and wound management. Her work has been published in Perspectives , Ostomy/Wound Management, Canadian Nursing Home , Rehabilitation Nursing, Journal of Advanced Nursing, and the Canadian Oncology Nursing Journal.
