Academic Affiliations

Joyce was previously a Professor/Nurse Educator with the Faculty of Health Sciences at St. Clair College of Applied Arts and Technology. She held this role for 27 years.

Interests/Research Interests

Joyce has been in the nursing profession for over 30 years and has served in areas including coronary, intensive, and medical/surgical care in Chatham as well as in Europe .

Within the community, Joyce was the Coordinator of Jesse's Journey; this was a cross-Canada walk that Jesse's father, John Davidson, completed to raise money and awareness for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy.

Current Activities/Future Plans

Currently, Joyce is putting her energies toward the expansion of the London Fracture Prevention Program, both citywide and provincially. This program presently resides at St. Joseph 's Health Care.

Joyce is also the Chair of the Arthritis Institute Leadership Council and is Past Chair of the London and Thames Valley Osteoporosis Canada Chapter.
