Judy has recently published an article entitled, “Development of a pamphlet: Intoducing advance directives to hemodialysis patients and their families” in the Canadian Association of Nephrology Nurses and Technologists (CANNT) Journal .
Judy's publications also include “Critical care nurses' perceptions of workplace empowerment, magnet hospital traits and mental health” in Dynamics .
In recent years Jan has been the recipient of several awards, including: The Johnston & Johnston Innovative Project Award (1999), The Canadian Association of Critical Care Nurses Research Award (2002), and The London Health Sciences Centre Professional Practice Award (2002).
