Lesley is a Clinical Nurse Specialist in the Forensic Program at St. Joseph 's Health Care, RMHC-ST.

Interests/Research Interests
Lesley's interests include incorporating research into clinical practice, facilitating a learning environment, implementation and pursuit of best practice and College of Nurses standards in mental health and forensic nursing, and program development and evaluation.
In 2003, Lesley collaborated with two multidisciplinary team members in a qualitative study evaluating a new way to deliver care within the forensic service.
Lesley has also been active in advocating for the mentally ill through policy development (eg. seclusion and restraint), as well as providing public and professional education regarding the needs of this client population.
Current Activities/Future Plans
Future endeavours include implementation of psychiatric rehabilitation, which promotes understanding, treating, rehabilitating, and supporting individuals with a mental illness who have come in contact with the criminal justice system.
