Carol is currently a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner/Clinical Nurse Specialist associated with the Perinatal and Women's Health Care Program at St. Joseph 's Health Care. Carol has over 17 years experience as an NP and was the first critical care practitioner at SJHC. She officially retired January 2003 but continues to work in the NICU on a casual basis.

Interests/Research Interests
Carol's research interests include neonatal pain assessment, family centered care, developmental supportive care of the high-risk infant, and project development/management.
Carol championed the development of “Care by Parent”, which is a new and unique model of care in Canada for convalescing infants and their families.
Carol has presented posters and papers at local, national, and international professional conferences.
